What technology is available?

Presenters should bring their personal laptops.
HDMI hookups will be available in every room. 
​Internet will be available for all conference attendees.

  • SDWLA:  Follow us follow us on Facebook or Instagram 
  • Parking: It will be available at 3201 S Kiwanis Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57105. Enter from Kiwanis Ave. take the first right and park in the back of the building. Then simply enter the building through the G-wing doors (rather than the main entrance. A map of the parking location is provided on the last page of the conference program.
  • Tech set up: Presenters will need to bring their laptops. Cables will be available to connect laptops to the projectors/promethean boards. In addition, you will be provided with a Guest Wifi Password at check-in.
  • Lesson swap: If you are participating in this, check this spreadsheet to find out your session. Each session will be 30 minutes and include 5 participants.  This means that each participant has about 5 minutes to share their idea!
    • If you need to display something on the screen to present during the lesson swap, please send it to Sarah Sinnott [email protected] by 4:00 pm Thursday, April 23.
    • Please provide physical copies and/or digital access to your materials to Sarah Sinnott [email protected].  Thank you for labelling the file with your last name and a word describing the activity. Example: Sinnott_maps. Files will be shared with conference attendees in a Google folder.
  • CEUs: Through SDSU, the 2026 SDWLA Conference is excited to provide for .63 CEU (6.3 contact hours) for conference participants.  Steps include:
    • Filling out forms provided at the conference to verify participation and evaluate the conference, and
    • Completing the Participant CEU Request Form and paying the associated $15.00 fee within two weeks after the end of the conference.
